Per PRO: no more races Saturday. The warning for C Class Race 2 on Sunday will be at 0930 with races to follow. Intent is to race 3 races. (Posted 5/21at 2:33p)

Per PRO: Saturday afternoon racing will resume at 1430. (Posted 5/21 at 11:38a)

RULES       

The races will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
Changes to the schedule, sailing instructions, and notices to competitors, may be made on Friday, May 20, prior to 2000 hours.                   
Competitors will be notified by group email sent to all registered competitors.
This replaces code flag Lima (or code flag Lima will not be flown). 

ELIGIBILITY

The regatta is open to Class C, Class MC & Class X Scows.

Entry Fee:  C Scow $90, MC Scow $70, X Boat $45

Special Rate Under age 25 C Scow and MC Scow Skippers: $55

Special Rate for MCSA members:  $55

*Late registration received after May 16 add $15

LAUNCHING

1. Please plan to launch Friday night 4-8PM or Saturday before 9AM
2. There will be volunteers and taxi boats available.
3. All competitors should bring an anchor, buoy, and plan to moor in 5-15 feet of water
4. Trailers must be unhitched and parked at the designated trailer parking area at the grassy area on the West side of the Community Center Property.
5. No trailer parking nor parking for dry sailing nor overnight parking allowed in the public launch parking lot.

SCHEDULE           

Friday May 20:        

4-8PM:  Registration and Launch at Oconomowoc Public Launch         

Saturday, May 21:

7-9AM:  Registration and Launching continues

0900: Competitors’ meeting. This will be held via VHF Radio on Channel 71.

1000: Warning for Race 1, subsequent races to follow

Sunday, May 22:

Time of first warning TBD by Race Committee (check your email/text/Notice Board for announcements)

RACING

1. Four Races are scheduled
2. One race must be completed to constitute a regatta
3. All races will be scored with no throw-outs.  This modifies RRS A2.1.

SPECTATOR BOATS

Spectator and tow boats will be provided as part of the regatta.

TROPHIES

Lunch and trophies following races. Awarded to top 5 places.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

Appendix S "Standard Sailing instructions" will be used.    A Supplement to the Standards Sailing Instructions will be made available to all competitors on the regatta website at labelleyachtclub.com after May 12. 

NOTICES TO COMPETITORS

1. Notices to Competitors will be made via the Tune-Up Regatta website at https://labelleyachtclub.org/regatta/2SLn0nN3qp
2. Signals Made ashore will be made from the Race Committee Flag Boat while docked at Regatta Headquarters
3. On Friday, May 20, Changes to the Sailing Instructions, the Schedule, and Notices to Competitors, or this NOR will be notified by group email to all competitors prior to 2000 hours. This replaces Code Flag Lima and changes RRS 90.2(c).

SOCIAL

• Immediately after Saturday races, all are welcome to enjoy a post-sailing get together, weather permitting. 
• Your Regatta fee includes a box lunch with beverage both days for skipper and crew.  Thirds and spectators are requested to reserve and pay for extra lunches ($8).  Additional non-reserved lunches in limited quantities are available at $10 each.
• Spectator boats will be provided.  Please let us know how many people will need a spectator boat while checking in onsite.
